Oh these two. Where do I even begin?!
I've known John for a little over a year through some mutual friends, and I knew him before he met Emily. I remember sitting in Bindle, a favorite coffee spot of mine in Fort Collins, last year with my friend Zara, and John was excitedly and nervously telling us about the first date he had planned with Emily later that evening.
Fast forward and a couple months later that first date turned into an engagement. John is a great guy, so I knew whoever he planned on saying a forever "yes" to had to equally be as special.
"I always thought people were making it up when they said they knew they had met the one, but I got it as soon as I met John."
The first time I got to meet Emily was at our coffee consultation to discuss their wedding details. (Let me tell you, October can't come fast enough!!!) I had heard great things about Emily from John prior, so I already knew that John adored Emily. But while we were having coffee and chatting, I knew that Emily equally adored John the moment she said, "I always thought people were making it up when they said they knew they had met the one, but I got it as soon as I met John." ummm ok pause. How sweet is that? My hopeless romantic heart melted.
We had such a blast taking these photos as we walked around Main Street in Longmont where John and Emily had their first date, and then finished at Rodgers Grove Park where the sun was setting and got some perfect golden hour shots. These two never stop laughing with (at) each other and it's seriously the best.
John and Emily compliment each other so well, and there is already such a high level of respect and love between them. I'm so excited for these two, and can't wait to shoot their wedding in October! Yay! Let the countdown begin. ;)
