OK, first of all I can't get over the clean aesthetic that both Jessup Farm and Jack's style brought to this shoot. So chic. Second, I've been wanting to work with Jack Savoie (how cool is his last name? ) for awhile now, and it finally happened this weekend! Woohoo!
Last year, when I was still attending Colorado State University, I worked on the photo desk at the Collegian (the school's newspaper). I hadn't been on the photo desk for long, but was assigned to take pictures for a feature story about Jack Savoie: a fashion blogger, who is also a full-time fashion design student at CSU. Jack started The Savoie Daily at the age of 17 and has been running it for two years.
Jack not only knows a thing or two about fashion, he's also such a sweet and driven human. He also holds himself with a quiet confidence and sureness that is quite refreshing. It’s so encouraging to see young people, like me, chasing what they’re truly passionate about and taking real action steps to turn dreams into reality!
A little about Jack Savoie-
Jack says his sense of fashion has changed and evolved a lot over time, but as of now he would define his style as both simplistic and minimalistic. He describes himself as someone who is a realist, doesn’t “do bulls**t”, is obsessed with sweaters, lives for a really good hamburger, and stresses over the littlest of things he thinks one should not stress over. Jack gets his inspiration from working retail, instagram, and tons of bloggers. His favorite blogger is Adam Gallagher of “I Am Galla”.
Jack was such a joy to work with, and I’m excited to see where his passion takes him!!!
