Earlier this summer, I joined forces with Nicolette of Sparrow Event Planning to capture a collaborated vision of an intimate, romantic moroccan inspired styled wedding shoot. Nicolette and I teamed up with other awesome local Colorado vendors to make our vision a reality, and now after months of keeping this shoot under wraps we can finally share with you! I'm so excited to say that this shoot was published on Colorado Weddings Magazine's Blog yesterday! Yay!!! (Which also makes this is my first ever official publication of a shoot! Woot woot!)
Every detail of this shoot came together so wonderfully, with the help of our awesome team. The vibrant florals supplied by Petals & Pours were the perfect touch, and added beautiful pops of color to the neutral setting. Also, how amazing is the bouquet?! I'm still over here swooning! Can I just carry it around at all times please? Thanks.
Our beautiful models, Izzy and Alberto killed it too. I'm so thankful for these friends of mine who were willing to put on a wedding dress and suit and play bride and groom for a day. Also, just look at these two, it's no surprise to say that the shoot couldn't have been the same without them.
To the rest of the team, including Jasmine of The Design Bible, Signe of Petals & Pours and her sweet kiddos that helped set up on shoot day, and Cassandra of Pink Lashes, here's a big thank you for all of your help! Without you, we couldn't have created and captured the same magic that made this shoot a success.
In the words of Nicolette of Sparrow Event Planning: Shot in the majestic red rocks of Colorado, this intimate and romantic shoot had a decidedly Moroccan feel. The neutral mountain landscape contrasted with the vibrant florals, layers of soft textiles, and mixed metallics all combined to make the perfect secluded paradise. Seductive candlelight and the fading stormy weather gave the evening a cozy and sensual feel. We love the distinction of the traditional Moroccan theme juxtaposed with modern decor and design elements to give this look a timeless appeal.
So without further adieu... here it is!!! Also, I'm not encouraging you to listen to Aladdin while you look at these... but I am. Enjoy friends! x
