Bradee + CJ | Fort Collins, CO | Classic Windsong Estate Wedding

Their day was something out of a storybook. The sun was shining, and the weather was pushing a little above a warm 50 degrees in the middle of February. In Colorado, that's basically unheard of! I arrived at the venue and was immediately greeted by Bradee's Mom with, "Hi it's so nice to meet you, I'm Mama B!!!" proceeded by a huge bear hug. Though it may be hard to believe, the day got even better from there. Bradee and CJ are a special couple, and I don't say that lightly. They're both filled with such pure, genuine joy, and are surrounded by the most amazing people each filled with so much love and kindness. I couldn't have been happier to see them have such a beautiful day from start to finish, and I think it's safe for me to speak for everyone and say that it was SUCH a pleasure to be a part of their day.

The way other people speak so highly of these two assures me they're meant to be together. According to their peers and loved ones, they're both quite the catch. CJ was referred to, multiple times, as the most attractive counselor to ever walk through the gates of Camp Timberline as well as the "one that got away," while Bradee was praised for her incredible loyalty and being the type of friend who will come over at a moment's notice to just simply sit and hold her best friend's hand.

From meeting each other at Camp Timberline, to spending 18 months in a long distance relationship, to a proposal that was just like Monica and Chandler's from Friends to a T, I'm so excited for the things Bradee and CJ's future holds now that they're husband and wife.

Bradee and CJ, thank you for trusting me with your memories! Wishing you two all the best. I'm so excited to share some of my favorites from your beautiful day in Fort Collins at Windsong Estate! xx

Emma + Travis Engagement | Breckenridge, CO

They knew of each other through mutual friends, but at the time Emma was living in Colorado, and Travis was living in Texas playing baseball. These two don't have the conventional start to their love story, but I love that. Love is about surprises, and sometimes it shows up at the most unexpected time and in the most unexpected way. Sometimes it shows up through Facebook and starts with a few simple "likes" on some photos, leading to a message in an inbox.

Emma and Travis met over Facebook. While some of us may immediately think of MTV's Catfish, we live in an age where some lucky people actually find their person and become the perfect match through social media! And that's just what happened with Emma and Travis.

After talking for several months without ever meeting in person, Travis spontaneously flew from Texas to Colorado to surprise Emma while she was on a ski trip in Breckenridge. Now nearly 3 years later, they wanted to capture their engagement where it all began!

We had so much fun walking around Breckenridge with Emma and Travis' rescue pup Tulo, and Emma's sister Elise. The weather was perfect, and we found so many awesome spots to shoot!

Emma and Travis, thank you for making my first time shooting in the cute downtown of Breckenridge so sweet! Thank you for your adventurous spirits and being up for anything, even if that meant trekking through some really deep snow and attempting (and executing!) the Dirty Dancing pose!!! I can't WAIT to be a part of your big day this fall, and I'm so excited to share these highlights from my time with you!

Madison | Dillon, Colorado

I've been begging my cousin Madison to come visit me in Colorado for years, and she finally did!!! I was SO happy to have her spend a week, and ring in the New Year, with my family and I!

While she was here we went all over and I showed her some of my favorite spots, even though there were too many to fit into just one week! Which means she'll just have to come back...;)

On the last day of her visit we ventured to Keystone, Vail and Beaver Creek and of course had to stop and take pictures along the way! I love this set a whole lot. The joy of winter and snow is a real thing my friends, and sometimes it takes adventuring to the mountains to appreciate it a little more!

Best of Weddings | 2016

I hope everyone had a great New Year!!! After getting a bit of time to relax after the holidays, I can't believe what a year 2016 was! It was full of adventure, travel, highs and lows, taking risks, going head first into my first official year of business, capturing love & discovering what it is that makes my heart happiest when I'm behind the camera.

I have to say, of all the things I shot this year I really fell in love with capturing people in love. I fell in love with being a part of one of the most special days of a couple's life. I fell in love with having the opportunity to give people something that will last forever, from generation to generation. And I fell in love with building and maintaining real relationships, and getting to call the people I work with friends.

I've loved weddings ever since I can remember, but as a photographer you never really know if capturing a wedding day is something you're going to enjoy until you do it! This year showed me that weddings still light that spark in me that lit up in me as a little girl when I used to search wedding dresses in my free time and plan my entire wedding before Pinterest boards existed. (Yup, that actually happened haha!)

I absolutely love capturing all the details of every wedding because they always help tell a unique and special story. I love capturing the moments in-between that most people don't get to see, like the bride and groom's first look and the first time a father sees his little girl as a bride before he walks her down the aisle. And yes, I tear up every. time.

I love the joy that encompasses every wedding day and how I'm reminded every time that real, pure love is something that does in fact still exist.

Before getting too far into this new year, I wanted to share some of my favorites from this year of weddings! I want to say a special thank you to all the couples who invited me be a part of their day this year. I've learned and grown so much, and that's all thanks to each one of you! Thank you to the photographers who have trusted me to grab those second shots at your weddings, and to those of you who have been so gracious and kind while teaching me the ropes! Lastly, thank you to the teams who put together the two beautiful styled shoots I was a part of this year.

I got to be a part of so much PRETTY this year, and now it's your turn to get a peek into it all! I'm so looking forward to the love I get to capture this year, and all the beautiful details and joyful moments to come!!! Cheers to 2017!
